Though this section is updated regularly, this is not an exhaustive or complete list. If you are interested in meeting an animal listed below, please call the shelter at (506) 446-4107 to:
A) Make sure the animal is still available (and)
B) Make an appointment to meet them.

A valuable tool to use is the “I am Looking to Adopt a Dog” questionnaire. Completion of this questionnaire (and submitting it to the shelter) is mandatory for all dog adoptions. Thank you for taking this important first step.
Jelly Bean
Jelly Bean aka J. Bean is an approximately 1 year old lab mix who was brought to us by the NBSPCA Animal Protection Officer. J. Bean has lived with another dog in his previous home and he didn't seem to mind the cats when he came very close to them by the cat room door. We don't know if he's had any experience with children but given his young age and the fact that he can be a little nervous of new people and situations, we will be looking for a home for him with older children or teenagers.
Jelly Bean has been neutered and he has recovered nicely. He enjoys playing in the snow and going for walks and he is very, very treat motivated so training will be fun and enjoyable for him. Because he has a tendency to gulp his food (he was a little thin when he came to us), he eats his meals from a slow feeder bowl and this helps to stop the gulping. Jelly Bean is just under 20 kgs so he's a compact guy with a zest for life and love!
